EVault data protection solutions are disk-based and inherently more eco-friendly than tape-based systems. Our product relies on fewer hardware resources. Our product architecture is designed to minimize unnecessary system activity, reducing power consumption. We are committed to using and adopting energy-efficient platforms that use MAID (massive array of idle disks) to reduce power and cooling costs, as well as other green technologies that reduce energy consumption when not in use.

Disk technology is reusable so there is no need to buy and dispose of hundreds or thousands of tapes a year; less landfill taken, and fewer plastics and other materials wasted.

With EVault solutions, customers can easily protect a multi-terabyte environment with a single Microsoft Windows server and SATA or Fibre Channel drives.

Our patented DeltaPro™ technology backs up only changed blocks, reducing computer activity and saving energy, and maximizing the use of data center facilities and network bandwidth. And because we’re only backing up changed blocks, less storage is needed.
